Who made the "Marsh Green"?

Cheers, Gringo.
I'll edit it in.
I think Kitt Green Road may have arrived before the planes.
Well they had to have somewhere to land (Commodore, Stranraer and Sunderland seaplanes/flying boats docked on t'cut).

Plane Avenue, or was it Plain Avenue? A friend lived there some time ago, were some houses demolished?

Just like road names of trees and flowers on Worsley Hall, and rivers and Lake District names on Norley. Plenty of imagination Wiggin planners...

Plane Avenue is in Worsley Hall Dave, the flats were demolished, and new houses built.
Replied: 16th Sep 2012 at 00:27
Plane is the name of a tree, so in keeping with the Worsley Hall scheme..

Ah! Thanks dodger, that explains it. I was going back some time to the mid 1970s or so when I was a lot younger, after going out for a pint or more, I'd missed the last bus home and I stayed in his flat overnight. Looking on Google maps, it looked like a different place.

Kitt Green Road was marsh green Road to begin with

kath It was originally just a row of terraced houses on the left hand side before where the shops are now and it was called Marsh Green.
