'talking funny' Xrh?!
If it's good enough for Shakespeare, it's good enough for me.

I can understand your double take:
Flying Fox - not something I've ever seen hanging about in Wigan either.

Best be off - my husband will be home soon saying, "Pray tell, what is for tea?"

He just frowned when I asked, Dostaf.
Hopefully this was due to me talking funny, not due to his tea tasting funny.

Though it might be protestable that his pasty left him pleased.

That sounds like a snip for haircuts, Xrh.

As long as you don't start saying "beshrew me" jo anne.
See Blackadder II where Percy is reprimanded for saying it. He's told that next he'll be saying "hey nonny no".

As for the The K-Tel Hair Magician® It's a miracle that there are not more men and women around these days with a lovely head of skin.

Speaking of old gadgets.(Sorry Paul, not a lot)

Has car-sickness been eradicated in these parts? Along with neck-boils and kids with their specs half boarded-up. (Is full board twice as expensive I wonder?).

I digress (another resolution bites the dust and it's good for stress relief anyway). I ask this because I can't remember the last time I saw one of those anti-static danglies hanging off the back of a car.

PS I know there are websites for cars and "danglies", but that's not what I mean.

And as Dostaf digressed so much Paul - I'd say a multi-story one.

Dostaf, digressing might writely be a stress reliever, but you want your readers to digest rather than digress.

(Actually, I've recently received my Readers Digress prize draw entry letter and form, but I haven't read through them fully as yet... )

Thank you for bearing with my digressions. it must have taken some dogged determination. Speaking of gadgets paul, these signs will always intrigue me from now on.

I think the Readers' Digest have sruck me off their list this year jo anne.
