out of the pan into the fire

I made a bad move with my fone provider, I left EE because they kept putting the price up, I saw that Lebara had an offer on of,,,3 months @ £2.78 then the regular cost of £7.50 per month and jumped on it like a tramp on a kipper, It works ok at home on my Wifi but, outside my house even with 4 bars of network showing, I don't get any apps working, I complained to Lebara and they put their hands up and admitted the system has issues and said, It will be fixed in 73 hours,,,
That was last Wednesday, Its still not working so, I'm trying Giffgaff , I've already ordered their sim, £6 per month for 8GB's with them,,,

You are having problems with phones, Tom. You do use some rather colourful metaphors though which always make me laugh! Your examples: "jumped on it like a tramp on a kipper." "staggering like a sniper's nightmare."

Why fart about? Asda is best.
10gb - unlimited calls and texts = £8 a month.
5gb - unlimited calls and texts = £4.50 a month.

On Vodaphone.

My lad's wife's grandma is in her late 80's and I'm ferrying them about and one day we, went visiting her grandma and while chatting about some folks she came out with,,,

" she's thicker than a Gillers Green butty"

I did't understand this so I asked, She Explained that during her youth she worked in St Helens and the people who lived in Gillers green used to slice their bread thick, ( before the days of sliced loaves) and, hence came the saying,

Tom. The original saying is, "thick as a Greenbank butty"!

PS: Gillar's Green is a nice area, in Eccleston, whereas Greenbank was quite the opposite. So, in Gillar's Green, a butty would be a sandwich, triangular, with the crusts cut off!

Thanks for that correction Tonks anyrodeup, I got a sim from Giffgaff and could't get the sim activated because, My credit card needed a verification from my fone, Because you cannot transfer your number till after the sim is activated means, It can't be verified so, stalemate there and there s no talk help on giffgaff at all so, I've binned that avenue

I am with Lebara via uswitch and get 15GB for £6.95 a month, no problems with signal or data, been with them for 18 months. Strange you have had problems unless the issue was isolated to a couple of cell towers.
