This is the eve of Jesus going to his death but, before Judas betrayed him, They all had a supper of fish chips and mushy peys , a couple of bottles of Blue Nun and a Ceegar,

I've had a cheese toastie on brown bread and a brace of Arthurs ( 2 cans on Guinness)

I've had chips, sausage, beans, and I was going to have a negg as well, but I broke the last one so had to do without.

doing bawt is a way of life with me but, breaking a negg is not a ' doing bawt' situation, pick it off the floor and scramble it or make an omelette or put in in a cup add some milk and sup it, Don't be a waste ling

I should've scrambled it as I didn't drop it on the floor. I always break a negg into a little dish first, but I won't be a wasteling next time.

Tom, thinking about it, Jesus couldn't have had a bottle Blue Nun 'cos Germany hadn't been invented yet, but I believe he did have red, red wine, and that's where UB40 got their idea from for a song.

Dunno if they had spuds back then as they originated in the US, but I bet he had a nice lump o' fish - hence the belief in no meat on a Friday - and some seasonable vegetables with a bit o' bread and butter, and red, red wine.
