Prisons

After the latest attack on prison staff by Hashem Abedi is it time to remove some privileges for certain prisoners like cooking their own food . You can't imagine terrorist prisoners in other countries having access like that.

It makes my blood boil to think that they should have any privileges at all. We are far too namby pamby in this country regarding terrorists. They should be locked in solitary confinement for the rest of their lives with just one hour for exercise a day , and that in shackles. If it drives them insane so be it. It would only be what they deserve. If that sounds merciless so what!
They didn't show mercy to the poor innocents they murdered and injured.

How do they obtain Halal meat, and why are they allowed to cook their own food when everyone else has to have prison food? That's not on.

They're there for (probably) the same reasons as everyone else, or worse, regardless of ethnicity so should all be treated the same.

Do they allow folk from the Caribbean to cook their own brand of food, or the French conjuring up culinary delights, or the Spaniards making their own as well? If not, why not?

All thanks to organisations like the Howard League for Penal Reform that our prisons have become more like a holiday than a punishment

No wonder they smile or smirk after being sentenced!
