Darren Orme from Beech Hill, who went missing several days ago, and after a massive search for Darren, yesterday a body was found in the River Douglas near to Stadium Way LINK

Darren was an avid Wigan Athletic supporter, and here he is on the BBC North West Tonight program in 2013, celebrating Wigan Athletic winning the FA Cup VIDEO

It's heartbreaking that the search didn't have a happy outcome, but the way so many people came together to help in that search really did make me so proud to be a pie-eater.
Huge condolences to Darren's family and many, many friends, and may he Rest in Peace.

He used to live just around the corner from me..he always walked very straight back,always pushing his bike..it seems very sad not to see him walking past now..very sad.

Very sad indeed, most especially as he had family and friends. Condolences to his family.

Bilinge it wasn't his dad it was his uncle Alan Fairhurst.
