Warriors

I'm trying to remember when the last time Wigan got beat at home in the Challenge Cup. I remember Castleford doing it in 1986 at Central Park but cant think of anybody doing it since. Any answers.

Looked all over at half time , what happened second half,
I think the followers are shell shocked or very shy.

What happened was after the departure of Field and Wigan in command was poor decisions made in the re-organisation of the backs which led to the attack being nullified coupled with some poor tackling which allowed Hull back in the game and which was not helped by keeping a injured player in Keighton on the field.

Yes, we Warriors supporters are shell shocked, but we have got a long way to go before being as shy as United supporters these days!

Simples, you mean that tinpot cup as utd supporter used to call it when riding high under Fergie. It's now the only thing they have a chance of winning something because they've won nowt else. Tinpot cup for a tinpot team.....sounds about right.

Why has a rugby thread become spoiled by puff ball idiots. There are enough puffball threads on this site without spoiling a rugby thread

Well put it this way PeterP I'm no longer starting any more posts about Wigan teams or rugby anymore, No-one is bothered on here anymore. Even the Dougie Laughton post almost went unanswered.

No, it was yourself who started it by saying that Wigan supporters were shy after losing to Hull FC.

I only give my opinion on why they lost, followed by a comment about a known fact!

Your opinion was all that was needed to explain what happened, i did not watch the game, at half time it looked all over, something went wrong,
No need to bring football into a rugby thread, thats how things go wrong to.

Wigan have lost the last two games against two teams they should have won, from the moment that Field got injured and the coaching staff in their wisdom moved French to full back, which has nullify the attack.

The injury to Field and the what appears to be a ongoing problem with Miski has resulted in moving players around the backs, but in reality has revealed that the squad is lacking experienced strength among the numbers one to five of the squad.

With injuries to Field and Keighton and what looks like a real problem with Miski. the club needs to sign a a experienced back straight away!

How much do they pay Mago for making a 15 minute cameo appearance OC.

This is the downfall of Wigan to much game play through one player. If that player is taken out of the game then they do not know what to do.Rugby is a team game not a one man game

Not as much as what football clubs of today pay a number of their players to just sit and watch a game without playing.

It's called stealing a living!

It was obvious if Peet picked four forwards on the bench all the time he would get caught out. No way is Farrell a centre but Walters has played centre in the past at Leeds to good effect.
