Can Anyone remember the names of the Public Houses that where on Wigan road New Springs between the canal bridge & the boundary before demolition.

The Prince Albert, The Royal, The Bridgewater. The Crown is still there.

No.13 Wigan Road was the Free Trade inn near Cale Lane. An old map shows another two going uphill on the other side of Road to the Crown , one is Prince Albert and The Royal Hotel at no.95 almost opposite the Crown.
