I spent some time breaking the ice on the path at the side of the bungalow yesterday and was surprised how by tea time all of the ice had melted and most of the snow had disappeared.i am hoping the Crocus and Snowdrops make an appearance in the next few weeks to put a bit of colour into the gardens

Tom, I saw your snowman waiting for the bus on Wigan Road, Ashton. He must have been going to Wigan market veg stalls for a new nose!

Wee were poor, we use to use coal for it's eyes, a carrot for it's nose, and a piece of firewood for it's gob
