For pity's sake! There's more than enough rubbish on TV these days without these so-called "reality" shows. I'm glad I no longer have a TV so I watch things that interest me on either BBC iPlayer or ITVX, or You Tube. Don't need a telly.

Too true Mollie, If you've only half a brain, that's all you need to watch telly. people fully brained up, get out and live life like yourself Mollie, get work, meet folks, socialize , who cares whats on telly ?

I know Tom, but there are folk who are disabled and immobile so rely on something to focus on instead of their disability, and so-called reality shows don't really provide the right kind of entertainment that people need to stimulate their brains.
It's horses for courses, but I find programmes like that to be so puerile and a shocking waste of money. Okay, I watch MasterChef, but that is something I enjoy because, every now and again, I'll learn something new, so I don't consider it a reality show like Celebrity Get Me .... etc, Big Brother and, seriously, how many people watch that sewing bee thing. They'll be trying to teach us next on how to track down the extinct giant sabre-toothed slug in the Himalayas!

Apart from the gardening programmes I have watched very little TV . Last night I thought I would watch the TV and was dismays with the amount of programmes that were repeats or clones of each other.Doing cars up being a prime example I turned out for a drink on Saturday night and when I got in the club there were 4 Tv's dotted about the club

I love watching my telly, but we don't watch rubbish, we have a controller that allows us to watch the good stuff.
Replied: 13th Dec 2024 at 13:18
If you don’t want to watch something just find something else to watch or just turn it OFF and do other things,no one forces you to watch it.Some folk moan about anything.

Repeats...reality rubbish...scraping the barrel to try and interest you...biased news...not much going for it really is there...rather watch a silverback in the jungle parting with it's excess gases

The problem today is there are 100's of channels and they don't know what to broadcast . We even have channels which show black and white pictures from the 1930 onwards or even silent movies anything to fill the TV screens 24/7

Now they are resurrecting 'Bulls Eye' for crying out loud, can no one think original anymore.

If more people would pay the television licence fee instead of dodging it then maybe they would have more disposable income to spend on new material.

Awwwww!
Is da nasty SD still living in your head BB?
How long have you had him on ignore now
Perhaps if you weren't such a bigoted pathetic hypocritical loud-mouth he wouldn't (and several others it would seem) be laughing at you at every given opportunity.
Come here and have a mummy-cuddle, it might make you feel a bit better

Firstly, the feline would like to know how you knew what the feline had typed?
The feline was on ignore? In your dreams it was
The feline never even mentioned you? But it seemed liked the cap was a perfect fit for your head.
"let's go forward with friendliness...kind thoughts...local community spirit"
Merry Christmas.

It's strange when people put listings up of Christmas Tv back in the 70s and 80s and say that tv was better back then. It wasn't, its just that we appreciated tv a lot more back then as there wasn't much choice. Now there is a lot more choice but we still moan about it.

^^^^^
That is all I typed. No names were mentioned!
Billinger saw it, and took umbrage. Bear in mind, I was on his ignore list
His response was
"I took you off giving you a second chance...guess what...you are back on ignore with the brush...Tata."
With a response like that, It is extremely difficult to fathom out whether he is the caretaker, or the nursery school pupil?

At least in the seventies, we got premiers of the latest good films on licence only television, especially at Christmas.
Now all pay for subscripton and streaming television to watch the latest films and if you do not pay, repeats of the same films over and over again on non subscription television.
Just another example of today's rip off Britain!
