I was going to say Halfords but I dont think they fit them on an EV. You could ring and ask them. If they don't they may be able to tell you who does. The dealer you bought the car from may fit them

Try google for auto electricians in your area.

I don't know of any in Wigan, but there's a lad on Three Sisters estate in Ashton who 'might' do them.

PS: the problem with them 'front and rear dash cams' is, you don't know whether you're coming or going!

I am surprised dash cams are not fitted has standard in this day and age, My car has sensors all round and a reversing camera so how hard is it to fit front/rear cameras when the car is being made

Good point PP, it would help clarify who's at fault when in an accident.

Or you could just delete the footage if it's your fault.
I take it admin would like a dash cam hard wired
Here's a thought, would a dash cam drain your battery faster on an electric car? So reducing the mileage you could get off a charge.

FM reading the literature on them It would seem that you can have the cameras fitted to the ignition. So they are only active when the engine is turned on. So no real drain on the battery.

Sounds good admin. Something else sprung to mind. If you are idling in traffic and the stop start kicks in would the camera still work if someone shunted your rear end? You have probably noticed I'm no electrician.

Yes the camera still works. When you start the car the screen is active but as soon as you start moving the screen goes blank.
