Mcvities biscuits

Started by: tomplum (13720)

IMHO they are the best biscuits you can buy, the digestive is bettered only by the chocolate digestive and they are the King and Queen of the tea break snack,
I was saddened today as My wife brought home a new biscuit for me to try,
The McVities chocolate digestive gingernut,

To me, that is like putting curry on a lettuce and tomato sandwich

Chocolate and ginger? Yuk. I'm not a great eater of biscuits, but occasionally I do buy McVitie's dark chocolate biscuits. Don't like milk chocolate.

I haven't had a speciality chocolate product for ages now, you don't seem to see them like you once did, take boxes of chocolates, the TV used to be full of adverts for boxes of chocolates and other choccy things, I used to like Mint Chocolate, Club Bars and Chocolate Oranges etc LINK

A biccy is in my daily routine of, 10 am is brew time, I stop doing what I'm doing and Mrs Plum and myself sit down and have a brew and a biccy, yesterday we had, jammy dodgers and the conversation of, how everything is now smaller and costs more kicks in, then we slag the neighbours off and rant about the the gov't and how folks do what they shouldn't be doin' then. we sup up, wash up, I go back to doing what I'm doing, she goes doing what she's doing and life goes on,
Biccies are part of the Plum life,
