The bionic man - that’s me

My body is home to various devices designed to literally keep me ticking.
But the latest gadget frightens me almost to death.
Hearing aids. I’m now back in the world of noise and it’s a shock. Traffic rumbling by sounds planes landing and phones ringing could be signalling a bank raid.
I’m also practicing to stop saying what, say it again, can’t hear you etc
I definitely won’t get run over by a bus - if the batteries keep working

I had two for my Tinnitus I acquired in my navy days...binned them eventually...sick of changing batteries with no real benefit.

I Spy, it must seem like a new world out there to you now. I know there's a lot of terrible noises like the ones you describe, but you'll also now be able to hear the birds singing; the rustle of leaves on the trees; the wind howling; and the rain beating down, and they're pretty good sounds to listen to.
