Vesta meals.

Anybody remember Vesta dried meals from the 1970s. I used to love the paella?

I remember them well especially the curry. When we had a touring caravan I always took the curry as it was quick and easy to prepare for a first meal allowing us to set up and settle in comfortably.

Earlier this year I bought a packet of Chow Mein from Asda. Not seen any for years but missus loved them. Still on sale in Asda at £2-75

I liked the paella best, until I started to make my own. I also liked the prawn curry, until I started to make my own! The risotto wasn't bad either.

I did like them a lot though back in the 60s.

We went camping in europe on motorbikes and lived of a similar food item.
Chef square shaped soup , It was powdered soup and came in a little square box and did exactly as it said on the box,
It had a jingle on the T.V advert
can yooo say it ?
