Does anyone know where there is going to be a communal Bonfire? My friend had loads of wood that he wants to get rid of.

You just can't burn any owd wood now Admin, It has to be kiln dried, smoke free , invirofriendly , untreated , spark free . smogless. low temperature and crackless sparking, You also have to be compliant in , not putting a guy fawkes on it without the cloth being scrutinised by the local Bommy neet council officer on duty, They will also charge for the inspection and impose fines if you have violated the regulations,

Definitely not. Burning rubber creates a nasty toxic smell containing carbon monoxide and cyanide. Not good to inhale it.
