today I've attended a funeral of an old mate, It was well attended by old . young and inbetweens, I was chatting to a young un about car problems and she asked me about a light coming on the dash, I told her that I don't know but, I know a man who will, I got me fone out and called my bro but. he was unavailable but, she said to me, " do you know your screen protector is on the wrong way up ?" she went on to explain tghat I've blocked the speaker off and. that ignited a ' light bulb ' moment,, I've had this fone for over a year and people often say " I can't hear you very well" and today I found out why

I've bin poorly. Woke up Saturday with sore throat, developed into coughing, sneezing, runny eyes and nose, but I've been tooting on here. Am much better now, but staying off work this week in case it comes back. Don't want to be infecting others.

I'm sorry to hear you've been poorly Mollie, I had the same thing a few weeks back, The worst bit was the sore throat and although the coughing and sneezing took a while to go, It wasn't too bad, It wasn't proper MAN FLUE

Am alreet me, Tom. I'm a tough little cookie.

After I returned to work following being furloughed for eight months during the pandemic, one of the guys said "I thought you might've died." It took me a second to respond and I said "What, with my immune system. You must be joking. There's nowt wrong with my little white blood cells. I'm in better nick than thee." Cheeky sod! We were the same age.

It was his comical way of saying he was glad to see me again, but everyone in the office gasped at what he'd said, until I came back at him with a smart a*se answer.
