no news today

I look at different newspapers on line and even the local rags are all carrying a story about a bloke who has topped himself . I gave up with the Daily Mail because there are over 50 yes 50 columns about this bloke. He is not the 1st nor the last person to kill themselves. At least it kept the Beckhams to only one column today

I'm not sure saying "topped himself" is appropriate because suicide wasn't reported. From what I've read, he fell off a balcony and Police found drugs and whisky in his room. The post mortem will determine what he had in his system, but he may well have just fallen off due to intoxicants.

It just goes to show that being a multi-millionaire doesn't necessarily make you happy if drugs and alcohol have to give you a boost, but at 31 he wasted his life.

His family must be devastated, and the long term effects it will have on them will continue for a long time.

Tommy Tee, I can't fault tonkers statement, If you jump or fall or are pushed off a balcony, you will descend at a rate of 32 feet per second squared that will stable in time to a rate of 120 MPH and its completely safe and enjoyable ( I've been told) until the sudden stop ,

My mitigations , not being a news reader, I did't realise that it involved someone committing suicide , I'm just posting facts ,

1st Mate the newspapers are not bothered about the family all they want to do is dig the dirt showing a smashed up TV and white powder (I don't think he was into baking) to me it is a waste of a life. I have every sympathy with the family and know what they are going through.
