House insurance

A couple of years ago I took house insurance out online and for the last two years have let it auto renewal. It was within a reasonable price range even though it had gone up by about 95% in 2 years but this year It was going up by another 25%. I decided to cancel and it must have taken me a good 20mins trawling through pages on line to cancel the auto renewal Cannot phone anyone had to be done online Sorted in the end and when I took a policy out with another company made sure to untick the auto renewal box not being stung again

from my experience Insurers are out for your money, never auto renew, comparethebeercan every year, whether its car, home or travel, YOU have to take the reins, They are the biggest thieves on the planet,,,,

it's always easy to sign up for anything online but near impossible to navigate sites if you want to cancel.

Kath most of these online sites don't have an Email address or phone number unless you are making a claim.Also they should put a box on line when they send you your reminder so you can cancel if you don't want their quote,not letting you trawl through pages and pages on line to find the cancel box
