Could this be the same Big Harold that used to come on the old Wigan World? You had quite a few "heated words" with Art, remember him?

Tom fell out with Mick over a very good video that Mick went to the trouble of making showing a GP trying to bring back a dead motorbike rider back to life by pumping his chest, but Tom twisted the tale by saying that it showed a dying motorbike rider.
It's the sort of thing you see happening all the time on these 999 emergency TV programmes.

I always thought that Mick's videos were of a high standard, something of historical value to look back on in years to come. Don't think Toms videos are of the same quality IMO.

BB years ago we should have stayed in a bungalow at Moffatt but the owner (a priest) phoned /wrote to us and said there was a family who had rented were now refusing to vacate the property and there was no guarantee he could get them removed in time We did visit Moffatt for a day during our stay on one of our visits to Scotland. Very nice little town and if I remember correctly had a fishing lake open for day fishing

When im up that way I like take the scenic route via Moffat. It's makes a nice break and the missis can use the very clean library toilets.
In fact all the public toilets in Scotland tend to be clean. some with fresh flowers and even free sanitary towels.

Well there is no wake is there, so he is not being towed along by a jetski or a speed boat

I've just asked him, and he said that they had a fast-spooling winch on the towpath.
He said they did all sorts of tricks but he didn't have time to stand there filming them.

I remember back in the 1960,s They used to use a big winch on the back of a wagon in Burtonwood airdrome To get the gliders in the air then, The pilot released the tow line by unhooking it from the base of the nose, It was up to the pilots skill at finding the lift from warm air currents ( thermals), from then on and, a good pilot could keep a glider up there for 15/20 minutes,
