A liverpool legend age 86,
Played for dundee united and tranmere, had a good career and was a very good centre half.

Yea R.I.P. Big Ron He was coming to the end of his Liverpool career when I started watching them He towered above the rest YNWA.

believe it or not peter my 1st game i saw was liverpool v southampton with roger hunt ,yeats , lawler ,callaghan, thompson ETC & for southampton had ron davies up front . in rugby it was st helens v salford at knowlesly rd , now you know why i,m a man utd & wigan rugby fan .

A member of the team which Bill Shankley on becoming manager put together to get Liverpool out of what was then the second division and led to Liverpool becoming the great trophy winning club of today.
