Why is it so Windy this year ?

I've took advantage of the wind by flying kites, building wirlygigs and flying flags but it never accrued to me why is there so much wind this year, Then this week on my travels, It hit me,
All these windmill farms that are designed to generate electricity have been hacked by the cyborgs and causing the weather problems

If they would turn off the windmills it wouldn't be as windy.
