Exactly, but surely it is time that Admin did something about it as this is supposed to be a sports section of a Wigan website about our own local clubs and general sporting matters around the Wigan area and should not be dominated about things relating to the two football clubs in Manchester and elsewhere which have nothing to do with Wigan.

Even this topic is supposed to be about Wigan Warriors!

2 players banned again…Sam Walters included…Matt Peet must be gutted as he would have wanted Sam to have more game time before Wembley…is it just bad luck or what…should be an interesting line up for Wigan and Warrington when they meet a week before the final

With respect to my old friend Roylew , I appreciate i have not been posting of late ,but i do feel after viewing the Wigan v Hielull KR plenty and i mean planty re-runs " I feel that the judiciary "have an almighty AXE to grind against WIGAN , I also realise people on here on reading this will say "i am biased" Well i am Definitely NOT!!! i have come to a conclusion which is this that Wigan Warriors is either !" a dirty thug team " Or as one which i totally believe in ,which is they are an honest team.. But the Hierarchy are biased against my club Wigan .W. There were instances last saturday where the man in the middle gave penalties one minute for an offence ,then for a similar offence later did not give a penalty ,as far as i am concerned this is happening far,far too often since the "new " ruling's came into being , But then again people will argue the toss which is after all great one way or tuther !!!HAVE A NICE DAY!! g.b.

Absolute joke and embarressment for the game that the only two suspensions were Wigan players when the worse offence in the game was that committed by Hiku.

But the inconsistant rulings of MRP are happening every week and the RFL are doing nothing about it!

Providing we stay clear from a glut of injuries, the first team squad, backed up by the players in the Reserve team and the best players of the Academy team is now up to enough strength to handle anything dished out by the MRP.

This weekend we will be missing Byrne, Ellis and Walters because of suspensions and the injured Isa, but the players replacing them like Cooper, Chan, Eshe jnr, Hill would be just as good.

Must admit we don’t seem to create overlaps down the right side as much as the left….a lot of Miski’s tries have come from cut out passes from Field or little dinky kicks from French, but Keighran is a good centre who’s a little short on confidence with the ball at the moment…he’ll be fine

When Wardle is the best British centre in the game and Marshall is playing as good, if not better then Johnstone. Questions need to be asked why the pair together with N'Semba were not selected by Wane for his recent England squad for the game against France.

From what I saw of his squad, it appears that like when he was Wigan Head Coach, he has his favourite players irrespective of what currant form they are showing.

There were worse offences than that of Keighton and if Peet is fuming, it may be more to do Wigan players apearing to singled out out for special attention which if true, comes as no surprise when rumour has it that the chairman of the MRP is a certain Paul Cullen who was no angel himself where foul offences were concerned.

Did youself or anyone see any offence commiited by Havard other than a accidental head clash?

The present disciplinary system is not fit for purpose and it is time the RFL listened to the discontenment by the supporters.

Did anyone watch the third match in THE STATE OF ORIGIN SERIES ?????
What a an absolute blinder of a rugby match ,hard tackling as for supposedly "head high " tackles the ref one ashley cline (remember him) well he controlled the match ok execpt for one instance a mass brawl but overall the ferociousness of the tackling and the speed of the game was great . So i wish the English R.L. would cease in thier feeble attempts of interferring with the game here . Obviously i am against the "owd stiff arm tackle" but i think the vast majority of players are clean . One last item whenever the next matches Great Britain v Australia are planned i do feel for the brits for those Aussie bloke look like the HULK !!HAHA .

As you are asking Kath Pressey about the lack of comments about Wigan Warriors etc , The thread has somewhat been spoiled in the past , people will no doubt have mention a certain some-one who continuously back-bites and genarally has nothing sensible to write about but for slanging off writers at every chance and thus members have had enough and there fore have chosen not to write anymore . I do hope this answer's your original post ? But as regards tonight's match WIgan v Warrington , i feel it's going to be very hard for the Warriors to get a result tonight ! I am a bit annoyed when i hear people say oh well we are missing Bevan French &Jai Field ,well i make no apologies i do not subscribe to those excuses . if we are a two man team then there is something wrong somewhere down the line . So much has it hurts me to write this but i think the scoreline will be around 30points to points , lets hope i, way off base ,enjoy the match tonight !!!!

There is something wrong and it is not just confined to the first team as the Reserves lost again away at Wakefield Trinity

The only good news at the moment is the Womens team who have improved under the coaching of Dennis Betts and yesterday won the nines competition by beating Leeds Rhinos 21-0 in the final.

What I am fed up off is those supporters on the fan's websites who every season always have to single out certain players as not being good enough to wear a Wigan shirt.

During the time of Wane and Lam, it was players like Clubb, Flower and Powell, but now under Peet, it is Byrne, Hampshire and Keighton who are getting the treatment.

The players must be considered good enough by the club when they signed them and then when signed, the coaching staff in selecting them.

And as for Powell, he is not doing a bad job for Burgess at Warrington, is he!

I may be critical of the team performances at times, but I have never resorted to calling individuel players not being good enough like some so called supporters do.

We were exposed again in the first half against Huddersfield..their slick passing was causing us trouble just like Hull and Warrington did.
I don’t know why they changed their tactics in the second half…perhaps to defend a lead…but I’m glad they did as once we scored you could see the momentum swing
Personally I think Smith is missing French more than we thought but our forwards were much slicker with Thompson outstanding….my man of the match

Since the two defeats, against Hull FC and Warrington, we have won against Huddersfield in spite of not playing well, won against Leigh who on the night were poor and today again got heavy beaten at Leeds who were without three of their better players, one whom was their captain.

And the discipline is not what it sould be for a top club like Wigan

There is something not right and Peet and his Coaches need to get it sorted out and quick before we start to slide down the table.

Are we expected to beleive that a extra game is too much for team who are supposed to be the fittest in our game.

Wigan have a first team squad of over thirty players, yet in the recent period of injuries, suspensions, losing games, certain players not playing well and missing Field and French, we keep allowing squad players like Chan, Douglas, Eshe jnr, Forshaw (prior to getting injured) Makin to be on loan to other clubs which begs the question, why have a Reserve Leagus to keep squad players match fit and available to cover injuries, suspension and a extra game?

Harry Smith is no worse than the inconsistant George Williams when he was playing for Wigan and is now the same at Warrington.

As for players having done a shift down pit, the game was slower then and if playing today would be knackered by half time.

And when did you ever see a winger of the time go in the air and score a try like Davies, Handly, Johnstone, Makinson etc like today.

You are indeed correct about about the three great wingers you have mentioned, but it should be remembered that they together with other great wingers of the past came from Rugby Union nations like Wales and South Africa until Sky Sports came on the scene, dangle a big carrot in front of the Union game and a century of condemming the League for professionalism Union committed the biggest act of hypocracy ever seen in sport and the signing of the best Union players ended.
