I looked on line and in gardening catalogues and tried all the outdoor outlets and can't find out how.

In me younger days when I was daft, I once mowed a lawn using an original petrol driven Flymo, and that was when there was washing was on the line, but not over the lawn, maybe 10ft away, and it was at me Auntie's and she went ape poo at me, because she had to do the wash again, because the washing on the line was covered in grass

not a chance Mortie, I love gardening and I'm not having a robot taking my fun away, besides the committee from Wimbledon ask every year if they can come an play tennis on my lawn and, they've no chance either,,,

My dad came from Gosport in Hampshire and in their gardens they had two long poles and a pulley at the top of each pole. they would hoist the rope up to shoulder level peg the clothes onto the line then pull the rope till the clothes were at the top of the pole then tie of at the bottom You could do what ever you wanted to the garden without any clothes to work round

we have pulleys in plymouth too which means your washing catches the wind easier and there is room for a second line underneath. No props here either!

Even though its between 22-30 degrees out side.. my wife who grew up with maids a driver and a nanny would never hang clothes out to dry and even the ironing she sends out to get done.....

Tumble dryers are for wet days only Peter, We're eco friendly and, anyone will tell you this,, the clothes smell fresher when dried by the wind, N.J No she won.t have a rotary one They're too gizmo/make do type of thing, It has to be a proper washing line and she even has a set rules on, which way the washing hangs, Sometimes when she's gone out so. I peg the washing out and. I get a good telling off because there is always an item, inside out or wrong way up, If I don't peg um out, I get told for for being a lazy git,
