I remember England winning the World Cup in 1966, but I was a bit too young to understand the significance of it.
In 1968 I watched as Manchester United played in the semi-final of the European Cup and everyone were ecstatic that they got to the final of the European Cup, and then myself and me family watched them win the European Cup, and the country went crackers
