Son is now on his way to London, running in the marathon on Sunday raising funds for LFRS. Hoping there is no trouble. Good luck son.

Just had a thought, the runners will have their phones with them what a noise when their sirens go off.

Son phoned this morning London is swamped with police.

That will have something to do with the protest by Extinction Rebellion I expect. Plus the policing for the Marathon.

"Just had a thought, the runners will have their phones with them what a noise when their sirens go off."
The "noise" is due at 3pm anybody still "running" then will probably be wearing a diving suit so it won't be audible to anyone else

Been in Blackpool since Friday, just got back, Matthew received his medal, along with others, from the big chief, for 20 years as a firefighter and now a crew manager, very proud of him. These last few years he has raised £50000 for the Firefighters charity. Everyone of those men and woman who leave their homes to protect us received and deserved our applause.
