No, I wasn’t, Priscus, the Casino was just before my time.
In the 1960s and 70s, Wigan Casino was the spiritual home of 'Northern Soul' music, attracting thousands to its famous all-nighters. The casino burnt down in the early 1980s. (WW Stuff)

Used to go to the Emp 3 times a week, Loved the place, couldn,t stand soul, Remember Billy Honby strutting around in his white jacket,

Mo, I loved the late night dances at th'Emp on Friday nights til 1.30 a.m. and late buses.
