How do you get the semi quavers?

Replied: 20th Nov 2013 at 22:42

Posted by: dustaf (inactive)

Well, first you get some quavers, then you need a group of breves.

Sorry

Press Alt, hold it down and type 13. You'll see nothing appear until you release the Alt button.

Alt 13 = ♪

Alt 14 = ♫

There are many others.

NB

You use the numbers on the numberpad, not the numbers on the top row of keys above qwertyuiop.

On some laptops you have a double up feature with numbers on the letter keys around I o p and jkl.

Bit like doing a shift lock, by pressing the function (Fn) key first.

For Unicode fonts, the characters can be grouped by their Unicode subrange. Although the Unicode standard already extends character field to plane 16 and many fonts e.g. MingLiU-ExtB begin to support higher ranges, this tool still only supports code points on plane 0 (between U+0000 and U+FFF
