Looking for any family descendants of James Prescott, who was born in 1834 . James was the son of Samuel and Alice Prescott of Close Lane Hindley. He married Hannah Crompton at All Saints Church, Hindley on June 21st 1858 . Hannah was born in 1837, the daughter of Henry Crompton. The family lived at Ivy Farm Cottages in Hindley , having nine Children. Hannah died on Aug. 6th 1917, aged 78 and James died on Jan 5th 1918, aged 82, having enjoyed long lives in farming.
