Looking for any family descendants of Betty Prescott, who was born in Westleigh in 1833, the first daughter of Samuel & Alice Prescott. Betty moved to Close Lane , Hindley when she was very young. She had a son George , born on Dec. 24th 1854. Betty married Thomas Marsh on May 10th 1869 at All Saints , Hindley. Betty and Thomas had two sons , Thomas (born 1873) and Richard (born 1876)while living at 118, Stony Lane , Hindley (now Liverpool Road). Her husband Thomas Marsh was born in 1832 and was the son of Richard Marsh.
