Wigan Genealogy

Looking for any family descendants of Samuel and Alice Prescott (nee Green). Samuel was born in 1802 in Leigh and was the son of John and Ann Prescott.Alice Gren was born in 1810 and was the daughter of James and Betty Green of Westhoughton.Samuel and Alice where married at All Saints , Hindley on Feb 14th 1831 (Valentines Day)and had eleven children. The family lived at Close Lane, Hindley working the land and silk weaving . Alice died on April 20th 1870 , aged 60 and Samuel died on April 16th 1879 , aged 77.
