Trying to trace parents of Willam Thompson(the fathers name was not on the marriage certificate) William Thompson married to Alice Foster on the 13843.His age was 23 hers 26.In the 1851 census they were living at Cross Keys Yard,Market St, Wigan.On the census Willam gives his birth place as Standish.If he fits your family tree please let me know!
