James CLAYTON born 19 Aug 1810 Wigan, married Elizabeth TAYLOR in 1832 Wigan.
Their son William CLAYTON born 6 Apl 1854 married Ellen TARBUCK in 1878.
William was a joiner/builder and built the houses in Hodges Street (up to No.84) and Barnsley Street in the early 1900s.
William and Ellen were my GG Grandparents.
