Wigan Genealogy

Looking for information on Hughes. Hugh Hughes moved from Liverpool c1821 with his wife Sarah, and was a joiner/builder in Wigan from this time. In 1851 the family were living 4 Wallgate St, Wigan. Daniel was my 2xgrt grandfather and became a river pilot in Liverpool in 1860. He married Elizabeth Brown in Liverpool who was also from Wigan. Any information on the Hughes family or their descendents would be pleased to hear from them.
