Looking for James Joseph Quan and wife Ann (nee Crocker) who were living in Rowbottom Square, Hallgate in September 1852 when a son Thomas Patrick was born. The family were probably Roman Catholic, and James was a ' Bookkeeper'. Thomas went to London eventually ,West Ham (1881 Census) as Timber Merchant.
