Looking for info on John Battersby who married Ellen Eckersly. They apparently had 6 children: Ellen, Ann, John, Martha, Elizabeth and James. We believe Ann was born around 1813. A family story has them living at Crow's Nest farm somewhere between Wigan and West Houghton during the early 1800s.
