Wigan Genealogy

Thomas TABERNER of Orrell/Pemberton married twice, the second time to Elizabeth HEWITT of Billinge. The children of his first marriage were: John (b.1869?); Anne (b.1871?); William (b.1874?); Elizabeth (b.1876?); Mary (b.1878?) The children of his second marriage: Frank (b.1883?); James (b.1887?); Henry (b.1895?) I may have traced his parents (William TABERNER and Ann ROBY) and possibly his paternal grandparents (Thomas TABERNER and Elizabeth WOOD). I would like to get in touch with anyone who has information on this family. I would also like to find Eric TABERNER, who used to play with my father/his cousin, William THOMAS, when his mother brought him over to Wigan/Pemberton to meet her family. Eric was the son of Bert and Maggie and the nephew of Frank, a baker. I don't know how they are connected to Thomas TABERNER.
