Looking for any info on my grandad Richard Ashcroft's family,he was born in 1906,his mothers name was possibly Baxter and he moved from Standish? to Leicester(worked for a road construction company) around the mid-1920s.I dont really have any more info than that as he didn't really speak about his childhood much.
