Wigan Genealogy

I am looking for any information about my father Robert and his family, he was born in March 1919 in Lower Morris Street, Wigan his mother's name was Ellen Strong nee Marnin his father was Oliver Strong and his Stepfather was William Dunn. I would particularly like to find the school that he attended.
