Wigan Genealogy

George Cubbin was our great grandfather, Margaret Ellen was our grandmother and Jane, who called herself Jean, was our mother. Once George was widowed in 1910 he remarried widow Caroline Platt nee Oliver. They had 3 children Annie, Edith and Ruth. They would have been my Great Aunts. My sister and I knew nothing of our mothers background until now and after some investigation found a grave in Hindley Cemetery which was renewed apparently in 2014 and had fresh flowers on it. Someone who cares has been looking after our newly found family grave and must be relatives of ours. It would be lovely to be contacted to discuss family history. Thank you in anticipation.
