Information required re my great,great grandfather Hugh Moorcroft. Born 1840 Lathom. Married Jane Roscoe 1859, 10 children. Buried Ince cemetery 1900. 1881 census family living Walthew Lane, Hindley. 1891 census no record of Hugh but rest of family at same address but using name Arnold. (Hugh's father was James Arnold but Hugh never lived with him & his mother Mary Moorcroft)1901 census family still at same address using name Moorcroft Hugh recorded. Any one any ideas?
