JOHN, Rodgers - 1791 approx -1870

Looking for any information on these ancestors who I know that William Rodgers was born in Wigan but moved at some time to Sheffield but I don't know when and why he was born there when most Rodgers come from the Sheffield area in the 1800's and in Scotland from surnames research I have done.
