John Atherton was born in Wigan in 1781 (d.1857) and I believe married a Mary Laton in 1799. They moved to Outwell in Cambridgeshire around 1800 and John was on the Outwell 1841 and 1851 census and listed as a gardener.
They had the following children in Outwell:
Thomas 1801
Mary 1802
John 1804-1810
William 1805
Joseph 1807
John 1814
I'm looking for any of John's relations in the Wigan area... particularly his parents.
