Wigan Genealogy
BEARD, Joseph - Circa 1819

I am looking for info on my Great-Great-Grandfather Joseph Beard who was born in Wigan. I have lots of information on what he did after his arrival in Australia but hardly anything about his life in Wigan. His Death Certificate did not state his parent's names.
The first record I have for him is in a Newspaper Article of 1865 in Bega, NSW where he settled.
I cannot find any proof of him being a Convict at this stage.
