Wigan Genealogy

Looking for info on a john Howarth. I know very litle about him other than he was my great grandfather. He married my Great grandmother esther nee boardman sometime between 1901 and 1910. They had two children John and Edna. Esther was previously married to a james Hart and my grandfather john had the surname hart though he was in fact john howarths son. His sister edna however had the surname howarth. Any information would be really great. thanks
