looking for info on Jack whittaker from wigan. My mum who is now 71 in may 2009 has never been told who her biological father was (her mother and other irresponsible elder members of her family refused to talk about him. She was given a name (jack whittaker)once by her devoted aunty Marion who seemed to care for her more than her own mother did. She would dearly wish to know who her father was and I would like to help her. My mum was born in 1938 so jack must have been around in 1937
