Wigan Genealogy

looking for any info about my grandmothers family, the Abbotts, who lived in the Victoria St. area from 1850's. They moved from Derbyshire. Grt,grt,grt grandmother was Maria Abbott,married to Matthew,who was possibly a moulder in a foundry. My Greatgrandfather was also a Matthew who was in the Boer War.He married Mary who was Canadian, they had 3 children, Maria/marie(my grandmother) John & Mary.
