CHAPPELL, Robert - b1857 - ?

The first reference I can find to Robert is the 1891 census when he is lodging (with his future wife)at 52 Queen Street, Pemberton. Born c1857 in Salford/Manchester he married Mary Middlehurst (nee Hodgetts) in Nov 1891. Mary's first husband Joseph Middlehurst was killed in a bar fight in Jan 1882 (see chronology part of this site. Robert and Mary had two children Emma born 1891 and James born 1893. The only other information I have on Robert is the 1901 census living at 40 Queen Street, Pemberton, I also have a copy of his Marriage Certificate which gives his fathers name as James.
