Looking for information on the surname HEATON. I have a John HEATON born 5 July 1836 in Ashton-in-Makerfield. He was christened the 6th child and 3rd son of James & Esther HEATON in St. Thomas'. I have no other infomation on John's parents so anything in that direction would be very helpful. John married Ann COTTAM on 15 July 1866. John & Ann had four children that I know of: Esther, Elizabeth Jane, John James and Margaret. Any information on the HEATON family would be gratefully received.
