Looking for further details of John Cartwright, a soldier from the Wigan Area who used to work for Coop and Co Ltd at Coop’s Mill, Dorning Street Wigan. Research so far has led to three possible men, being this particular John Cartwright, It is the John Cartwright who worked at Coop’s Mill that I need to identify; 24407 Private John Cartwright 10th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers, KIA aged 19 20/07/1916 son of James and Esther Cartwright 30 Richmond Street Wigan. S/17620 Private John Cartwright 7th Battalion the Gordan Highlanders, KIA aged 19 14/04/1918 son of William and Ann Jane Cartwright of 2 Silver Street, Wigan. 13729 Private John Cartwright 10th Battalion the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, KIA age 29 12/07/1916 husband of Elizabeth Ann Cartwright of 5 Lea Street Wigan. Any information in identifying this soldier would be most helpful, thanks Diane Wainwright
