I’m looking for more information on 24415 Lance Corporal Frederick Parker 14th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers, who died aged 22 on 10/07/1916 in the first month of fighting of the Battle of The Somme, whilst trying to retrieve a wounded comrade from no man’s land. He had two brothers who were also serving soldiers. Prior to joining the forces he worked as a cutter at Coops Mill in Wigan and he lived at 35 Wilcock Street, Wigan.
Any further information would be appreciated, thanks Stephen Hill.
